Now fast forward to the Chinese era with the new type of ink they started using to draw and paint on silk canvas. They used graphite from some minerals found to make a dark ink that would stay. They would also use plant dye and make glue from animals to make the ink. To the robust colors of the sixteenth chapel painted by Michelangelo.
